The Backgammon is one of the oldest games on record, and although historians are divided on who could really be its predecessor: if it could be the Royal Game of Ur in Mesopotamia or the Senet in Egypt; the truth is that variants of this board game are found on numerous occasions throughout history. But, it will not be until 1743 when the rules of backgammon as we know them today will be codified.

Juegos de la Antigüedad aims to capture the baggage of this game, drawing inspiration from the long road travelled, providing an interpretation that moves the history of Backgammon forward once again.
